Advance Sign-Up Here This 90-minute workshop will allow artists and researchers to build their own pinhole cameras out of found materials while discussing photographic methods for making meaning. Various discarded objects from the UCSD campus will be collected in the days leading up to the workshop and will be available for participants to deconstruct/reconstruct in an organized, step-by-step method of instruction. People can also bring their own objects that are pertinent to specific modes of research, art practices, or otherwise. I hope to reach an assemblage of artists, educators, students, researchers, ethnographers, and the general public; individual practice and collaboration will be encouraged.
Meet at the Welcome Table on the iHouse Entrance Patio at 3pm, and embark from there.
