Kathryn Cox is a PhD student in Anthropology at UC Irvine. Her doctoral research concerns how notions of gender, risk, and social equity are coproduced through the practices of biomedical research in Mexico. She is a researcher with the Community Knowledge Project at UCI, and is particularly interested feminist and decolonial modalities for ethnographic research and scholarship.
