Riley Taitingfong is a third year PhD student in Communication at UCSD. Her work is centered primarily around minority health and health technologies. In particular she is interested in working collaboratively with indigenous communities to coproduce new health-related media and technologies that incorporate nonwestern epistemologies of wellness and healing. Riley also considers how narrative and storytelling function as valuable roles in qualitative research methods, especially community based participatory research.
